As a general rule, the price for my services is based on an hourly rate which varies depending on the scope of the project and the time frame involved. The principle is that the more hours you book, the lower the hourly rate. If a project requires that I (more than occasionally) work outside of normal working hours, the hourly rate will be higher than if the project can be completed within normal working hours.<\/p>

For certain types of projects, I may (depending on the specific circumstances, including duration, complexity etc.) be able to offer a fixed monthly price or a total price for the defined project.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/details>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t

My experience is that clients typically get the best outcome from working with me if I work on-site (at least for part of the time), as this allows me to meet the team and the relevant stakeholders in the organisation that I will assist, in person. If this is the case, obviously, you will need to arrange for an office space, a PC with access to relevant systems, an access card, etc.<\/p>

Additionally, to ensure efficiency from day one, it is important that an internal resource is allocated to onboard me on the assignment and to be available for clarifying questions during the project. I usually easily adapt to a new organisation and quickly identify legal issues, but there will always be a need for alignment and partial reporting during a project.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/details>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t

I only take on assignments that I consider myself qualified to perform. I will always discuss and align expectations with you as a client regarding the required specialisation, time frame, etc. involved with the assignment before entering an engagement. There are areas that I am not able to assist with. As an example, I do not advise on tax law matters. There are also tasks that are better suited to being handled by a law firm. I will always advise you on this when you present an assignment to me.<\/p>

Through my cooperation with a law firm and network in the industry in general, I can quickly facilitate engagement of other specialists if a task which is outside of my expertise or requires a team effort, arises.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/details>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t

What are the implications for us as a client that you do not have an active attorney\u2019s license? <\/div><\/span>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\n\t\t\t<\/path><\/svg><\/span>\n\t\t\t<\/path><\/svg><\/span>\n\t\t<\/span>\n\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/summary>\n\t\t\t\t

I obtained my attorney\u2019s license in 2007 after three years as a junior asscociate at the law firm Plesner and completion of the mandatory legal trainee program.<\/p>

In January 2023, I deposited my attorney's license in connection with leaving my position as Attorney and Associate Partner at Accura to enter the legal consultancy industry. When providing legal advice as a legal consultant, there is neither a legal requirement nor a practical need for an active attorney's license.<\/p>

For you as a client, the only practical implication is that I cannot represent you in court cases. Further, I am not subject to the code of conduct for lawyers (De Advokatetiske Regler), which are ethical standards that apply to lawyers' conduct, although in practice, I follow many of the principles even though they do not directly apply. This includes rules on conflicts of interest, confidentiality duties, the restrictions on accepting assignments without possessing the requisite skills or expertise, etc.<\/p>

The professional standards of my legal services remain the same as if I had held an active attorney\u2019s license. My services are covered by professional liability insurance comparable to that of an attorney.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/details>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t

Besides my eight years\u2019 experience practicing as a lawyer in law firms, I have extensive experience working as an in-house lawyer, both as an employee and a consultant. I therefore understand what it means to support as an in-house lawyer as opposed to advising from an external lawyer perspective.<\/p>

Through my experience as in-house lawyer, I have learned that legal solutions must be practical and that other interests than legal considerations are at play when choosing a solution.\u00a0<\/p>
